What is a Blast Room?

Abrasive blast rooms or blast booths are large chambers designated for storing abrasive blast pots, collecting abrasive leftovers, and recycling the blast abrasive. A blast room consists of an enclosure that prevents fine abrasive material from entering the outside air and a system designed to reclaim your abrasive material.
 
After the leftover abrasive is recovered, it is moved to a recovery system that separates dust from the residues so the high-quality abrasives can be reused. Through the use of an abrasive blast room, you can save money by efficiently recovering and reusing abrasive material that is still worth reusing.

Industrial Sandblasting Cabinet Room

This sand blasting room is a flat trolley type sand blasting machine. It consists of sand blasting chamber, sand blasting machine,elevator, separator, scraper conveyor, screw conveyor, abrasive control system, lighting system, dust collecting system, and electronic control system.

1. Blasting Chamber Body

The main body of the blasting chamber is made of square tube and composite rock wool insulation board. It is lined with wear-resistant rubber protection board. The top of the room body is equipped with a lighting lamp to maintain sufficient brightness in the room. The bottom of the sand/shot blasting room is covered with a grid plate and wear resistant rubber protective plate.A safety lighting system is designed in the pit.

2. Sand Blasting Machine

This sand blasting machine is equipped with a continuous sand blasting tank. Made with American CLEMCO technology, strong and stable jetting force. It can be used for long-time and high-pressure operations, ensuring uniform and high-quality cleaning work.The sealing performance is good, and there is no leakage when working.

3. Abrasive Circulation System

The abrasive circulation system consists of a scraper conveyor, bucket elevator, separator, abrasive feeding gate valve, abrasive feeding pipe, etc.

3.1 There are multiple sand scrapers at the bottom of the chamber body. The sand scrapers are made of polyurethane material and steel plate. Through longitudinal reciprocating motion, the projectile is pushed to the back of the chamber body, and enters the horizontal screw conveyor through the hopper. The screw conveyor sends the projectiles to the hoist outside the chamber, passes through the pellet dust separator and the projectiles are screened, and then enters the sandblasting room to complete the cycle.

3.2 The screw conveyor is composed of a cycloidal pinwheel reducer, a screw shaft, a conveying cover, a mounted bearing, etc. It is a standard horizontal conveying equipment for shot sand and an important part of the shot blasting machine's abrasive circulation system.

3.3 The bucket elevator is composed of a cycloid pinwheel reducer, upper and lower rollers, conveyor belts, hoppers, closed barrels, anti-reversal devices and tensioning devices.

3.4 This machine adopts advanced full curtain separator. The separator is mainly composed of a sorting area, a shot silo, and a shot control gate.

3.5 Adopt the sealed air-controlled abrasive gate valve independently developed by our company, which is a device that relies on the control stroke to adjust the shot peening amount, which avoids the motor burnout , blockage of the shot blasting device, empty shots and wounding phenomena caused by the loose closing of the ordinary abrasive control gate valve.

4. Dust Collecting System

The dust collecting system includes the dust collector, the air blower and the duct works, the connecting pipe between the dust collector and the main machine, etc.

5. Electric Control System

This system realizes the centralized control of the shot blasting machine. The system can adopt high-quality electrical components according to user requirements, and has many advantages such as reliable work and complete protection functions.
