Steel Shots for Shot/Sand Blasting 

Steel shot is a high-performance metallic abrasive specially designed for shot blasting, surface cleaning, strengthening and descaling of metal workpieces. Made from high-quality carbon steel, it features uniform particle size, high hardness, good toughness and long service life. It is widely used in machinery, shipbuilding, automobile, casting, steel structure and other industries.

Steel shot is the most commonly used abrasive material for shot blasting processes. It is manufactured by melting qualified steel raw materials, atomizing into spherical particles, followed by heat treatment, screening and grading.
With round shape and consistent hardness, steel shot will not break easily during operation. It can efficiently remove rust, oxide scale, paint residue and burrs on metal surfaces, and also realize shot peening (surface strengthening) to improve the fatigue resistance and surface toughness of workpieces.

Compared with traditional abrasives, our steel shot has low wear on blasting equipment, low dust emission and high recycling rate, which is eco-friendly and cost-effective. Various specifications and hardness grades are available to meet different working requirements of surface cleaning, derusting and metal strengthening.
